Edith is a humble ten year old girl. She lost her father at seven years. Life took a difficult course thereafter because he was the sole provider of their family. Her mother tries to meet the needs of her seven children but is unable to provide for the family sufficiently as a peasant farmer with no assured source of income and the ever increasing demands of the family. The demands include; food, clothes health and school requirements among others.
At Berakhah childcare, she can access the basic needs besides the love and care from the new family. She also participates in dancing and singing, but during her free time, she plays handball with her friends. She is in primary four with an average performance and dreams of becoming a teacher.
