Charles lives with his maternal widowed grandmother together with his siblings and mother in the same house. They moved to this home after the death of Charles` fatherat the age of five. Life became difficult for his mother to handle and her only support system was her widowed motherwho is elderly and survives on subsistence farming.They hardly access all the basic needs like: food, health and education sufficiently. Charles is the fourth in a family of sixchildrenbut their familyhas been separated due to the inability by the mother to raise them up. While at home, Charles digs, collects water, washes plates and sweeps the compound. During his free time. He enjoys singing, dancing and plays football with the friends. Charles is in Primary four.He dreams of becoming a driver and his performance is good.
